Professional Licensing and Certification Unit Online Jurisprudence Exam Portal

Online Jurisprudence Exams are available for the following regulatory programs::
TX State Board of Examiners of Dietitians
TX State Board of Examiners of Marriage & Family Therapists
Texas Midwifery Board
Advisory Board of Athletic Trainers		 Perfusionist Licensing Program
TX State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors
TX State Board of Social Worker Examiners
Massage Therapy Licensing Program
TX State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
Although required by law, the DSHS Jurisprudence Exam is offered for each licensing board or program as a learning experience.
Each exam tests and affirms your knowledge of the applicable rules/laws/codes for your area of specialization.
No advance preparation or study is necessary.  The content is included within the exam questions in the form of links to the applicable rules or codes.
Easy-to-follow instructions on how to complete are included in each exam and can be printed before you start answering the questions.
The duration listed in the catalog for each exam is an estimate only. There is NO TIME LIMIT for any exam and each one is a "No Fail" format.
You don't have to complete your exam all at once.  After you complete your online payment, you may login to your account as often as desired to complete your exam.
Each exam includes a Certificate of Completion, available after your successful completion, for validation purposes.

Purchasing your exam for the First Time
If you are required to take the "no-fail" jurisprudence exam for a new license or license renewal, you must purchase the current exam.
DO NOT CHECKOUT TWICE FOR THE SAME EXAM.
First time users will create a new Online Learning Account during check out. Use your email address to create your login id.  An email confirming your purchase and your account information will be sent to the address you specify as your login.  If you have already completed your checkout, your exam is assigned to your Online Learning Account.  Go to the next step to login to your account and access your exam.

Returning for Another Purchase Returning for another exam?  If you have already completed an exam for a past license period and are due again, you need to purchase the current exam.  You ALREADY HAVE an Online Learning Account, so you will enter your login and password as a returning user during your checkout.  Your login id is your email address.
